New creations from the renowned Swiss master of issues.
If you're wondering if Jaeger-LeCoultre can top its 2023 Reverso (yes, we're nonetheless dreaming about the Reverso Honor Chronograph), you'd be wrong for you to doubt the 190-year-old watch manufacture from the Vallée de Joux.
OK, we didn't start to see the Reverso or Polaris products become popular with collectors, but the manufacturer did unveil four brand-new creations-the Duometre Heliotourbillon Continuous, Duometre Quantieme Lunaire, Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar, and Duometre Chronograph Moon-that showcase its more complicated, sophisticated horological feats ready for 2024.
The latter was one of several highlights of the show. Presented in 2007 as a time counter, the new piece has been reimagined as a celestial complication. Found in platinum and rose gold, the modern Duomester features a new motion, dial and case, an elegant phrase of the company's watchmaking beliefs.
The Calibre 391 features a fully integrated in-house movements with a manually wound monopusher chronograph, moon phase along with day/night complications, as well as a pair of power reserve indicators and a moments (flying seconds) display. Causing the monopusher, the arms run with an accuracy involving one-sixth of a second.
In contrast, the new Master Ultra Slender Perpetual Calendar will please traditionalists with a fresh try looking in case and dial layout. We get a new rose gold type with a midnight blue sunray dial and a significantly enhanced power reserve; 70 hours, actually.
